The technology of working through the 1C Link service does not require an external IP address. This ensures complete invisibility of the computer on the Internet. This prevents hacker attacks. It is also worth noting that remote access is provided only to those databases that are published.
Two-level authorization is provided for remote access. First, enter your login and password to access the 1C Link service, then they must be entered when starting the database.
If necessary, you can instantly block access to all external workers. To do this, just stop the 1C Link agent.
Connecting the 1C Link service
The 1C Link service is provided to subscribers at no additional charge. On the contrary, for subscribers to 1C ITS TECHNO it... Those who do not have an ITS subscription cannot use the 1C Link service.
To activate the 1C Link service, there is a detailed guide designed for the average user. He is not required to have special knowledge and skills. The qualifications of an ordinary user are sufficient. Connecting to 1C Link is performed in three steps.

The attractiveness of the 1C Link service is that an IT specialist is not needed. An ordinary user can handle this task. All necessary work is automatically performed by the 1C Link agent. He downloads web servers and other software, installs them and configures them to interact with the 1C Enterprise system.
After activating the 1C Link service, external employees can launch published databases using 1C Enterprise 8 client applications: web client or thin client. Let's look at them.
Web client
One of the client applications for remotely launching a published database is a regular web browser. More precisely, any of the following four browsers: Windows Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.
Please note that you do not need to install 1C Enterprise on the computer or tablet from which the remote database is opened via a web browser. All complex and numerous calculations are performed on a computer in the office. But the results of these calculations are displayed in finished form on the computer or mobile device of an external employee. Thin client
A thin client is already a special program. It is included in the distribution package of the main 1C Enterprise package. It can also be obtained for free if you comply with the license agreement, https://1c.ru/news/info.jsp?id=16512.
The thin client must be installed on the PC or mobile device of an external employee. It runs both under MS Windows and Linux.
There are three options for thin client operation.
- Web browser. The thin client connects to remote databases via a web browser. Externally, this option is similar to working through a web client.
- Client-server. The thin client interacts with a cluster of 1C Enterprise servers. The latter accesses the database server as needed.
- File-server. The thin client directly interacts with the file database.
The thin client, like the web client, mainly makes requests to remote databases. Complex, resource-intensive calculations in accordance with received data and requests are performed on a powerful local network computer or on a hardware server. The results of data processing are sent to the computer with the thin client installed.
Connection of trade equipment
The 1C Link service has no obstacles to connecting retail equipment to work through a web client or through a thin client. At the same time, the developers warn that working through the web client has some limitations. Therefore, before making a final decision, it is advisable to first test the operation of specific retail equipment through a web client.
The performance of retail equipment through a thin client does not have such restrictions. Therefore, if there is a need to connect commercial equipment, it is better to do this through a thin client.
Working with the 1C-Reporting service
The 1C Link service gets along well with the 1C-Reporting service. If the 1C-Reporting service is already activated on office computers, then external employees can remotely generate and send regulated reports to regulatory authorities.
To do this, a crypto provider and private encryption keys must be installed on the external user’s computer or mobile device.
Composition of the 1C Link service
The 1C Link service consists of the “1C Link Agent 2” agent and the additional “1C Link Agent” software license. Expansion by 5 bases."
- Agent 1C Link 2. This is the main part of the service. It should be installed in the office on the computer (server) that has access to the information databases. You should also install the 1C Enterprise 8 platform with web extension modules on it. Without the extension, Agent 1C Link 2 provides access to no more than two databases.
- Agent 1C Link. Expansion by 5 bases. In essence, this is an agent software license. It allows you to additionally connect up to five bases.
Only one copy of Agent 1C Link 2 can be installed on a local area network. On the contrary, the number of additional licenses “Agent 1C Link. “Extension by 5 bases” can be arbitrary and is determined by the number of bases that need to be published for the purpose of remote access to them.
There is no need to install the 1C Link agent on the computer or mobile device of an external employee. However, to confirm the authenticity of the encryption keys, you must install the root certificate of the 1C Link certification center on them.
