The latest version provides additional protection for all user accounts using five-stage encryption of personal data. The component generates one unbreakable password, stored on a server completely isolated from external influences.

The official website provides a license file to activate the extension on all antiviruses in the Software line. You can download Avast Passwords 2018 for free using the link.

The installer is designed for installation on a computer and laptop running the Windows operating system. There is a fee to use the product. After a successful transaction, an activation code is sent to your email for 1 year.

The Avast Passwords 2018 module received good reviews due to its protection against fraudulent activities aimed at stealing confidential data during online banking. The Russian version eliminates the need to store passwords in the browser, since the browser cannot provide maximum security. The license key gives the right to export personal information to a cloud space that is inaccessible to hackers.

Features and new functions

A free component with limited functionality is built into the entire line of antiviruses. The Pro version automatically fills in fields when logging into your account, generates super-complex passwords, and syncs between PCs and mobile devices. Additional options can be viewed in the table:

Security. Monitoring attempts to hack accounts stored in the extension's memory. During suspicious actions by attackers, the user receives a notification about the need to urgently take security measures.
One-click login. This feature is made for the lazy. If the PC is located at a great distance, then you can log into your account by pressing a special button on your smartphone (a kind of remote control).

The disadvantages include the lack of password renewal, replacement or reset. Therefore, you need to create a backup copy of your data with the ability to restore it in case of loss.

Another Avast development that makes life easier.

Introduction:

Avast has an impressive portfolio of Android applications and updates them periodically. Today's addition is an application that is designed to simplify the storage and use of passwords. You don’t have to worry about security either, since the application uses an encrypted connection to synchronize data “in the cloud” and this, in turn, allows you to use one list of passwords on all your devices: Android, iOS and PC.

Functional:

Of course, as soon as you launch the application for the first time, its configuration begins. You must enter a password or switch to a 4-digit code, which will not be as strong as a password. Then you need to set up synchronization, and for this you can register by entering data manually, or use your Facebook or Google+ account. For automatic filling of login and password fields to work on websites or applications, you need to activate additional application features (to do this, just follow the instructions in the instructions). Then, when you enter your login or password on the site, you can simplify this task by simply clicking on the floating icon in the form of a key. The application can store not only passwords, but also various kinds of notes, including even lists.

Results:

In the settings, you can configure synchronization and automatic filling of fields, as well as change the password and enable automatic blocking of the application after a certain time (by the way, if someone tries to hack your password storage and enters the password incorrectly 4 times in a row, the application is automatically blocked for 5 minutes) . Let's summarize: it can be safely called a reliable storage of any type of passwords, as well as a convenient tool for conveniently filling out fields in applications or websites. Enjoy!

avast! EasyPass stores and encrypts your passwords and personal data. Recognizes the main types of form fields and knows where to fill them out. This is a one-click authentication and form filling solution.

Protecting your data is our priority. We have used some of the best security technology in the industry to protect your personal data.

1. Your passwords are fully protected

avast! EasyPass stores authentication data (including usernames and passwords) in a secure Passcards vault. Passcards uses military-grade AES security standard. And only the master password, which you personally define, will allow you to have access to this storage.

This means that no one except you will be able to access your personal data storage. Even AVAST software employees will not be able to open it.

2. Data transfer between avast! EasyPass and online servers are absolutely safe

EasyPass uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, a cryptographic protocol that allows you to surf the Internet securely. There is a process of direct data transfer from EasyPass to servers on the Internet, which protects you from various keyloggers (programs of the “keylogger” class). You can be sure that only you know your personal passwords.
