Beats Tour headphones review: a great mobile solution. Beats Tour Headphones Review: A Great Mobile Solution The Best On-Ear Bluetooth Headphones

No matter how much people admire and despise beats headphones, more and more often on the street or on public transport I notice teenagers and adults wearing products from this brand. It is not a fact that all these products are original, however, after the acquisition of Beats Electronics by Apple, the question of popularizing a product with “b” can no longer be asked. I plan to write several objective reviews of some beats products, and specifically I want to dedicate this review to my first original headphones from the above-mentioned company. Meet Beats Tour 2.0.
First, let's look at the headphone package.

The headphones are supplied in a durable cardboard box with a magnet.

Having opened it, on the left, we will see booklets, such as: instructions for use, warranty, and others, as well as a sticker. On the right, the headphones themselves appear before us.

Also included in the package: a hard case for headphones,

3 pairs of “secure fit” silicone wings of different sizes and an additional three pairs of droplets (two of which are small and large, respectively, as well as one pair of medium size, but of a different shape) P.S. The headphones in the box have a pair of medium-sized droplets on them.

An elastic band was carefully provided for the slider so that it does not just dangle. It's a small thing, but nice.

The quality of packaging, components, as well as the build quality and materials of the headphones themselves are a solid 5+ out of 5.

I would also like to draw your attention to the “secure fit” wing holders. They are comfortable and 100% fulfill their role - to fix the headphones in the ears. Without unnecessary marketing words. Perhaps they add a certain absurdity to the appearance of the headphones, but they are worth it. You can run calmly, and work out in the gym too. You can take them off at any time, as well as put them on. In general, beats has huge respect for this.

About design. The design of the headphones is simple but memorable, and that’s not the main thing (especially to each their own). The headphones, by the way, come in 3 colors: black-red, red and black. The wire is designed in a “noodle” style to prevent the headphones from getting tangled.

Now I propose to move on to the main thing - the sound. The sound source was MacBook Air late 2014, and the amplifier was FiiO E11K Kilimanjaro 2 (Flac audio track format). According to the manufacturer, the headphones play in the range from 20 to 20,000 Hz. The picture as a whole is excellent. No extraneous noise. At full volume the sound is virtually undistorted. If there are instruments in the track, they do not merge into a nasty mess. Good sound insulation (at 3/5 volume the subway noise will definitely not be audible). The lows in the headphones are decent, but not that much exaggerated. The highs don't squeak at full volume. The middle is good. Good, but for the price of $150 I would like something more. The sound has been greatly reworked since the first version of Beats Tour and for the better. Far better. In general, the sound can be safely given 4/5. If the headphones cost $100 or less, they are a must have, as they say, but this is the Beats brand. I repeat, the official price for headphones is $150 in America.

Conclusion: The headphones are ideal for rap, club music, hip-hop. Well suited for rock, clean vocals, pop and classical. I haven’t really listened to other genres, it’s hard to say for sure. I did not use the equalizer when listening to music. The quality of the materials is excellent (mine have been in use since December 2013, they are in perfect condition, I always carry them with me in my pocket without a case). Design and comfort 5/5.

If you have any questions about this headphone model, write in the comments, I will try to answer. Thank you for your attention:)

Many from products Dr Beats eyes are burning. This company has recently created and released a lot of cool headphones that focus on bass. One of the latest innovations in this series is headphones. Beats Tour. Their appearance immediately indicates that they are from the Beats product line. They have bright, wide red wires, somewhat reminiscent of a ribbon. Such wires hardly get tangled. This will especially appeal to those who like to carry crumpled headphones in their pockets and then cannot untangle them.

The wires are very durable and are unlikely to break. Thanks to the ControlTalk headset, you can now put music on standby and the built-in microphone will make it possible to receive incoming calls. The headset itself is located on the wire that comes from the right earphone. If you use an iPod, then you can use it to pause and change songs. In addition, it is possible to use the microphone to receive incoming calls.

These headphones feature an exclusive design with the letter "b" on the background of an aluminum circle. They are very long and not like all the others, and will stay in the ears well and will not fall out.

The best way to determine if they suit you is to try them on before purchasing. Maybe they won't suit some people. Therefore, you need to check whether they are conveniently located in the auricle.

When you listen to music in them, you will immediately hear powerful and clear bass. Compared to other models, they produce excellent sound in other ranges. If you listen to such a composition as California Girls by Katy Perry, you can hear the sound of a guitar and the clink of cymbals. In a word, we can say that they have excellent and clear sound. Of course, they may not be suitable for those who are accustomed to finding fault with the slightest nuances in terms of sound, but their quality is simply excellent. Hip-hop and pop music will sound especially cool in them.

Conclusion
by Dr Dre provide excellent sound. They have a bright and original design, strong wires and a good headset. We recommend that you try them on before purchasing, as they have an unusual shape.

They can perfectly replace the headphones that come with your iPod or iPhone.

Equipment (3.5/5): Single-flange (3 sizes) and tri-flange (2 sizes) silicone tips, and a shell-style hard case.

Build quality (3.5/5): The housing design is a combination of various materials, with the emitter chamber made of aluminum and connected to a plastic nozzle and rod. The flat cable looks reasonably durable and isn't subject to sharp bends, but unfortunately the headphones don't have a cable retainer to protect it from the ribs of the stem, splitter or 3.5mm plug.

Soundproofing (3.5/5): The long, angular tips of these in-ear headphones allow you to insert them deep into your ear canal. When the headphones are inserted correctly, the sound insulation is quite acceptable.

Microphone effect (4/5): The flat cable transmits less noise than most modern cables, but wearing the Beats Tour headphones with the cable coming from above the ear, which would completely eliminate the microphone effect, is not so easy.

Ergonomics (3.5/5): The headphones are designed with high ergonomics, but they are large and limited in operational flexibility by the long and wide stems. They also sound pretty bad if they are loosely inserted into the ear. Therefore, it is recommended to insert these headphones deep enough.

Sound (6.1/10): Being familiar with the family, as well as & Lil Jamz, I was hoping that since both headphone models are similarly priced, the Beats Tour would be very close to the original Turbine in sound signature. Unfortunately, the Tour headphones, with their flamboyant, aggressive signature, sound more like Lil Jamz than any other Monster headphones. Just like the Lil Jamz, these headphones are very sensitive to a loose fit in the ear, unlike the Turbine or other Jamz headphones. And with the narrow silicone tips that Monster ships with them, they don't produce their best sound. The accompanying silicone tips on the Sony Hybrid are much better. But with good tips, and when properly inserted into the ear, the Beats Tour provide a brighter and more colorful sound than the Turbine, although it is hardly noticeably superior to the sound quality of Lil Jamz.

Value for money (5.5/10):(retail price - 150 $ ). Beats Tour headphones by Dr. Dre were one of the first in-ear headphones to come out under the Monster brand, and they remain practical for everyday use two years later. When placed correctly in the ear, which is more difficult to achieve with this model than with the Turbine and Jamz models, they are very comfortable, have good isolation, and are characterized by little cable noise.

Sound-wise, the Beats Tour are noisy models, lacking the dynamic range and separation needed to properly convey the nuances of music, but they have clarity, punchy bass, and sparkling treble. There are genres of music for which they will prove relatively good, but even so, the signature and sound quality exhibited by Beats bored me fairly quickly. Those who want punchy, bass-rich sound can get more with cheaper models like the Thinksound TS02 or , or try Turbine headphones for the same price.

Also, if the decision to use the Beats Tour seems too good to be right, then it probably is - both eBay and most Chinese online stores are completely flooded with fakes, although I can't be sure that the brand The headphones sound much better than the fake ones.

Pros: User-friendly cable, 3-year warranty, impressive clarity, rich bass without annoying emphasis.

Minuses: A very colorful sound that can be harsh and tiring. Weak separation and diversity.

Final score - 6.60/10
